Who We Are
Countryside Adventures is a family-owned and operated destination in Moose Creek, Ontario, complete with outdoor Winter activities, Summer adventures and loads of excitement. We founded Countryside Adventures in 2017 because we wanted a way to bring families and friends closer together. What better way to do it than in nature?
Our home is covered in acres of forest and filled with nature. We love to explore it as a family and relax in the tranquility it brings, so much so that we decided to share it with the world.
Fish, Boat and Play on our Private Pond
Throughout the Summer, our private 4.5 acre pond is open for family and friends to enjoy. We make it easy for you to arrive and have fun, with kayak, pedal boat and paddle board rentals to explore the water. Or fish for rainbow trout from the shore or a boat and take home your bounty for a delicious meal. We’ll supply you with everything you need plus our team cleans the fish and prepares it for you to take home! On top of these activities on the water, you’re invited to relax and play on our private beach, as well as explore our 3km trails through the woods.
A day at Countryside Adventures is fun, affordable and easy. Reserve your space and pay online so when you arrive, you can get right to the fun. We’ll even take care of lunch! Our food truck has a full menu and is always open for a snack before or after your adventure.
Skate and Snowshoe Through the Forest… and More!
During the Winter months, Countryside Adventures boasts a 3km trail through the forest. We start every day by clearing snow and making new ice. This guarantees high quality and safe paths, smooth with virtually no wind and fully accessible… plus the nature is incredible! Families, individuals, couples and groups are invited to come for the day and take in the landscape by skating or snowshoeing . (skate and snowshoe rentals are available). There is plenty of space for strollers and wheelchairs and, as long as they stay leashed, your furry family is invited for the day as well.
Your day at Countryside Adventures will let you take in everything our beautiful Canadian Winters have to offer. Before or after you explore the forest trails, sit by the bonfire with a hot chocolate or other warm comfort foods and drinks from our food truck. For more activity, meet our friends in the petting zoo or continue your skate on our open pond.
Whether you enjoy skating in the forest, snow-shoeing through nature, or relaxing outside during Winter, our goal is to make sure you love your visit to Countryside Adventures.
